Conference sound — speech intelligibility comes first

At conferences and business presentations, the sole task of the sound system is to make sure every attendee can hear every word clearly and effortlessly. We use d&b audiotechnik E-Series point source speaker systems specifically for this kind of work — compact, discreetly placeable speakers with directional coverage.

The choice of conference microphone system depends on the program: gooseneck microphones for panel discussions, handheld or lavalier wireless microphones for speakers, and additional microphones for audience questions when needed.

Corporate galas and award ceremonies

At a corporate gala or award ceremony, the technology has to be invisible. The sound system's job is to make the transitions between welcome speeches, addresses and musical program elements flow smoothly and unnoticed.

For speakers we provide Shure ULXD and SLXD wireless microphones. Background music during dinner, followed by DJ or band sound reinforcement for the after-party, often happens on the same evening — with the Yamaha console's Scene memory, transitions can be pre-programmed.

Technical equipment for conferences

We use Yamaha DM7 Compact or QL1 digital mixing consoles — both with 96 kHz sampling and native Dante connectivity. The Shure ULXD system is premium, with Dante output — ideal for multi-microphone conferences.

The entire system runs on the Audinate Dante network audio protocol, which enables multitrack recording and stream feeds for online broadcasts.

Yes. From our Dante network audio system we can output a stream feed directly, on multiple independent audio channels if needed. Multitrack recording is also available.

How many microphones are needed for a panel discussion?

Every participant needs their own microphone — for a 5-person panel, that's a minimum of 5 microphones plus one for the moderator. We recommend adding 1-2 backup microphones.

How far in advance should I book?

Ideally 3-4 weeks before the event. For larger conferences, we recommend coordinating 6-8 weeks in advance. In urgent cases we can help on shorter notice.
