A corporate event does not fail because of the sound system — it fails when the system was not planned properly
A sound system optimised for speech intelligibility, with stable wireless coordination and dedicated audio feeds for stream, press and recording — sized for hotel and conference environments.
Request a quote for the corporate eventDoes this sound familiar?
- Guests at the back cannot hear clearly what is being said — the room is reverberant
- The microphone works for the speaker, then suddenly feeds back or cuts out in the next person's hand
- The stream crew, the photographer and the communications colleague each want their own feed
- The hotel dictates exactly when you may build and tear down — and enforces it to the minute
- Five minutes after the awards, everyone is waiting for the party, and you do not want a technical intermission
How we solve it
Surveying the room's acoustics is the first step. Loudspeaker placement follows the room geometry, the audience position and the acoustic behaviour — there is no compromise here, because a badly positioned system cannot be corrected after the fact. Depending on the characteristics of the room we install additional loudspeakers at the rear or on the sides, so that the sound is even at every point in the room.
The reliability of wireless microphones is the most common failure point at a corporate event. We work with our Shure wireless sets, RF Venue antenna coordination and a preliminary frequency test — on a panel discussion the transmission remains stable even with ten microphones active at the same time.
We provide the stream crew, the press and the in-house recording with individual audio feeds tailored to their requirements over an Audinate Dante network. Content and levels can be managed independently, so the video crew, the reporter and the recording engineer each get exactly what they need.
The hotel time window is a practical constraint, so we arrive with prepared equipment allocation and pre-rigged cable looms. Our technician is on site from the build until the end of the authorised teardown time.
What the service includes
- d&b audiotechnik E-Series point source system, with a layout designed for the room's acoustics
- Yamaha DM7 Compact digital mixing console, with a multi-output matrix for independent feeds
- Shure wireless lavalier, headset and handheld microphone set
- RF Venue antenna system and advance frequency coordination
- Audinate Dante network audio transport, redundant on request
- Independent matrix outputs for the stream crew, press and in-house recording
- Backup wireless channel and spare microphones at every speaker-intensive event
- Technician at the FOH console throughout the event
- Build and teardown aligned to the hotel time window, agreed in advance
From planning to teardown — our process
-
01
Consultation
Clarifying the event's purpose, programme items, number of speakers and audio-feed requirements (stream, press, recording).
-
02
Site visit, acoustic survey
Surveying the room geometry, reverb characteristics, and power and network infrastructure. The loudspeaker layout is planned on that basis — an acoustic decision, not an aesthetic one.
-
03
Itemised quote and RF coordination
Detailed, itemised quote. Wireless channel allocation finalised from a preliminary frequency scan, and microphone assignment mapped to each programme item.
-
04
Build within the hotel window
We build with pre-prepared cable looms and rig to the room's constraints. System tuning with a measurement microphone where the room's acoustics warrant it.
-
05
Live event
Technician at the FOH console throughout, managing wireless status, matrix feeds and programme transitions.
-
06
Teardown
Teardown within the time window authorised by the hotel.
