Touring and band support in Hungary — consoles, IEM, crew, dry hire
Supporting bands and touring productions is Pantheon Sound's core business. For a single show or a full tour we provide consoles, monitor systems, in-ear monitoring, wireless microphones and our own crew; we write the technical rider and advance every stop with the venue. If you only need equipment, it is available as dry hire from Budapest at short notice.
What we provide for a band
Two systems shape how a show sounds: the PA the audience hears and the monitor system the band hears on stage. On tour the PA is usually supplied by the venue's contracted provider; what keeps the production sounding the same night after night is the band side — consoles, signal path and monitoring. That is the part we take care of: FOH and monitor consoles, stageboxes, microphones, an in-ear system and the crew to run them.
Because the set-up is identical at every stop, the engineers never start from scratch: same consoles, same signal path, same patch, with the mix adapted to each room's acoustics. That is what makes a tour sound predictable.
- FOH and monitor consoles: Yamaha DM7 Compact, Allen & Heath SQ5, Behringer Wing Compact
- Dante stageboxes: Yamaha Rio3224-D2, Tio1608-D
- Wireless microphones: Shure ULXD, SLXD
- In-ear monitoring: Audio-Technica ATW-3255 wireless IEM, KLANG immersive in-ear processing
- RF: antenna combiners, directional and circularly polarised antennas, on-site frequency coordination
- Vocal and instrument microphones, drum mic kits, DI boxes
- Own crew: FOH and monitor engineers, stage technician
In-ears and KLANG — why the monitor side matters
With in-ears, performers hear their own mix clearly regardless of stage volume, and a quieter stage also means a cleaner sound in the room. A conventional stereo in-ear mix, however, gets crowded with many inputs: every instrument sits in the middle of the head, so performers tend to push the level up.
KLANG immersive processing places each source in space, from the direction it occupies on stage. Sources that are separated in space remain distinct at lower levels, which protects hearing and reduces fatigue over a long run of shows. It is an established tool on international tours, and still rare in Hungary.
Technical rider and advancing
We write the technical rider together with the band: input list, stage plot, monitor requirements, power, the PA expected from the venue and the schedule. Before each stop we advance with the venue's technical team, so there are no surprises at load-in: additional equipment, cabling and frequencies are agreed in advance.
If the band already has a rider, we review it and point out what should be clarified.
Short-notice dry hire for touring productions
It often turns out at the last minute that a console, an in-ear channel or a few wireless microphones are missing. We handle these requests regularly, for Hungarian bands and for international productions passing through: equipment can be collected from our Budapest warehouse or delivered to the venue, with or without crew.
The fastest route is to email your equipment list or rider, the date and the venue to info@pantheonsound.hu; for an immediate availability check, call +36 30 531 1382.

On Tamás Veréb's Szívem lelkem Tour we provide the complete audio package apart from the PA: FOH and monitor consoles, stagebox and Dante network, an in-ear system with KLANG immersive processing, and the RF side. The system and the reasoning behind it are covered in a detailed case study.
FAQ — Touring and band support in Hungary — consoles, IEM, crew, dry hire
Do you support single shows or only tours?
Both. For a single show we provide the same consoles, monitor system, in-ears and crew as for a full tour; on a tour the difference is that the set-up stays identical at every stop.
Do you supply the PA as well?
On tour the PA is usually supplied by the venue's contracted provider; we specify it in the rider and advance it. Where a venue has no suitable system, a PA can be supplied through our contracted partner.
How quickly can you supply equipment?
Equipment in stock can be supplied at short notice, often within the same week. Email your equipment list or rider, the date and the venue to info@pantheonsound.hu and we will confirm availability.
Can in-ear systems be hired without a technician?
Yes. Wireless in-ear systems are available as dry hire; we help with frequency planning in advance. For more complex monitor systems, such as KLANG immersive processing, we recommend a monitor engineer.
Do you prepare the technical rider?
Yes, writing the technical rider is part of our job: input list, stage plot, monitor requirements and what is needed from the venue. If the band already has a rider, we review and refine it.
